What's inspiring ME: Books and Articles

Delighting in the Trinity: An Introduction to the Christian Faith (by Michael Reeves).

Theologically deep, yet written with warmth and tenderness, this book caused me to appreciate the relationship of Father/Son/Holy Spirit in a refreshingly new way. It also skillfully and engagingly helped me work through some of my questions about the Trinity.

A Praying Life: Connecting With God in a Distracting World (by Paul E. Miller).

Our worship teams and audiovisual teams recently finished reading this book together. Our discussions were lively and eye-opening as we worked through the true nature of prayer and how to incorporate prayer into our lives in a vibrant and sustainable way.

One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are (by Ann Voskamp).

If you haven’t read this, or at least heard of it, it’s time you discover this beautiful book. Ann’s captivating and creative prose paints a poignant word picture of what it means to be fully aware of the grace, joy, and thanksgiving each moment has to offer. At her suggestion, I have begun a journal of thanksgiving; this practice has transformed my life.
